Polished copper-colored rum rum distilled from sugar cane syrup. Blend of rums aged from 5 to 14 years in a variety of barrels.

Botran Añejo Reserva is another member of the families of fine rums from Guatemala. Distilled by Industrias Licoreras de Guatemala, then blended after sampling thousands of barrels and recasking aged rums, Reserva is a balanced blend of aged rum with a rich body, just one of the signature characteristics of Guatemalan rums.

Fresh tropical fruit - papaya, banana and hints of coconut - dominate the aroma of this copper-hued rum. The complex initial taste reveals a slightly viscous mouthfeel with caramelized banana, smoked nut and fruit flavors. Each taste reveals more of the character of this rum. A slightly smoky oak flavor in the body over more dry almond, roasted coconut and fruit flavors lead to a very well-balanced, slightly sweet, dry, smoky finish.

Botran Añejo Reserva is being being launched in select markets in 2010.

Bottled at 40% alcohol by volume.
