This tradtional Martinique liqueur is made by macerating Martinique orange peels in high proof La Favorite rhum agricole for five to seven days. Just as this maceration begins to become bitter the orange peels are removed from the spirit which is then diluted to about 40% ABV. The final dilution to 35% ABV is done by adding a raw sugar syrup.
Use in cocktails like margaritas in place of Cointreau or Orange Curaçao. The rhum agricole base adds a fuller body than that found in other orange liqueurs.
Bottled at 35% alcohol by volume.
