Light golden-copper rum distilled from fermented molasses. Aged in used whisky and bourbon barrels.
Slightly spicy fruit aroma leads to a somewhat dry entry with cinnamon, pear and apple notes in the body. The finish doesn't linger long but the hints of charred wood, white pepper, cinnamon and fruit invite you to another sip.
The most under-rated of the Mount Gay rums.
