Default Rum Nation Panama 21yr

Since I haven´t seen any note about this rum yet, I thought it´s worth to introduce it to You all.

Released late last year I finally got a hold of a bottle since it was sold out early January. Just to give a short overview, it´s a 21yr single domain rum from Panama created by a cuban born master blender with 40 years of experience. The bottle is a beautiful decanter same as the one used for Cartavio XO and, in the past, La Cruz 1981 single barrel (as well as 1987 and 1988). Details about this rum are mentioned on the bottle. To summarize the tastes: very smooth, for a Rum Nation some sweetness, tropical fruits and some tobacco. No afterburn and no lingering bitterness.

Retail price in my city is €69,-- and definitely worth the money. More info at www.rumnation.com

Actually, I have a bottle that I'm tasting and it is quite awesome...my only wish is the it could have been stronger. This one would go well at, say 46%.
