Talking The Kraken made me do it

Hello from the lovely environs of Richfield, MN. My Name is Fidel and I am quite new to the world of rum, and really drinking in general. But it seems the Kraken rum has awaken the beast of liquor inside me, well a little at least. Rum apparently is also my drink of choice, as it is one of few alcohols I enjoy and will continue to explore. I think this community will help in that endeavor famously.

Hello! the Kraken has had some influence on me so I'm told (let us know go into more detail). I have only been here for a short period of time, but I'm sure you'll enjoy this wonderful site as much as I have the past few months.

Welcome! The Kraken has a spot in my cabinet as well - great in a Dark N' Stormy or a simple rum and Coke.

Default Love the bottle but...

Rum Dragyn: I released the Kraken for the first time this week and found the experience a bit oily & bitter even when mixed. I was never crazy about Spiced Rums but I am going to continue to experiment. Tiki Seven and Sailor Jerry is the next up. So far the most accessible I have tried is Montecristo Spiced it mixed quite well without being overwhelming.
