Have any of you heard about the Swedish wooden 1700 century replica ship Gotheburg? she sailed to China 2005 – 2007 and came to Stockholm today..unfortunately i was at work when she came.
I saw the ship last year when she left Stockholm for Gotheburg, and then from there her China journey, and to see this ship was fantastic!
I never went aboard then as there were thousands of people there to say farewell. I have regretted that for a whole year so now this weekend (she will stay here for one week) i went aboard that ship and the she is really something to behold..
Many interesting things to see aboard as well, everything is made to exact replica of the old ship and most of the modern things are very skillfully integrated so you barely notice them.
We spoke to a few of the crew who told us about the journey they made to China and about life aboard, it was really interesting…
