Spirits credibility compared to your local newspaper
Do you feel the credibility of the information you are getting from the rum industry is better or worse than that of your local newspaper?

The rum industry publishes less 'local cat stuck up tree' articles. The rum industry info is mostly credible and a good deal more interesting

Yes, it's credible and it's interesting...but how much is it difficult to find it?

It is my experience that it is easy to get information but it is more difficult to get past the marketing claims but every distiller has his trade secrets and just as you wouldn't expect a woman to tell you her age, don't expect a distiller to tell you all of his secrets.

My local newspaper is run by a bunch of drunks that make no effort to differentiate between editorial content and paid content. So they have set the bar pretty low for any comparison.
