......but really, temperature plays little into storing Rum according to our founder, Ed Hamilton. Light plays a bigger role, so keep it in a dark location. Oxidation may be a concern if you've opened a bottle and then don't return to it for an extended period of time. There are several threads on the Ministry concerning oxidation and how to minimize it. You can decant into smaller bottles or as some do, add glass marbles to the bottle to replace the lost liquid and minimize the air space in the bottle.
