Default Orgeat Taste Test

I recently did a taste test of 8 different brands of orgeat and posted the results on Professor Cocktail:

The brands tasted were:
  • B.G. Reynolds Orgeat
  • Fee Brothers Orgeat (Almond) Cordial
  • Monin Almond Orgeat
  • Routin 1883 Orgeat
  • Small Hand Foods Orgeat
  • Sonoma Syrup Vanilla Almond (Orgeat)
  • Teisseire Orgeat
  • Torani Almond Orgeat

We found that homemade is the best, outside of that depending on the drink Fee's works well for cocktails and Torani also holds it's own, all in different areas.

If you can get your hands onto the Meneau Orgeat then you should definitely give this Syrup a try. It's really a great Orgeat which performs very well in a Mai Tai.
