Thumbs up Anyone try making a Ti Punch with honey?

Sitting home from work today due to Strep Throat and did not feel like drinking hot tea and honey so I decided to experiment making a Ti Punch (figure the citrus would help my throat) with honey. Wow do I like this. Adds a whole new flavor to the punch. Should give it a try.....

Its typical a Ministry of rummer who is sick to sit home and experiment with a new rum drink..

Hope you get better soon!

If you don`t i have a cold killer here:

Half glass, strong rum
1 finely chopped red chili
A good dash of course ground black pepper
6 pressed garlic cloves
A pice of grated fresh ginger
Then go to bed with many warm covers to sweat it out.

Ginger is a killer! Ginger tea is good for much things including bad digestion.
And Ginger + brandy is good!

Honey is good. I've had more than a few ti punches made with honey, but I always come back to real sugar cane syrup like you'll find in the French islands. It has a little more flavor, but I still try new honeys when ever I see one, especially things like wild-flower honey. Then there are the different rums, and the choices are almost endless.
