Mine would be Ti Punch followed by a mix I made up which I call The Bomb...

2oz of white rum (prefer Barbancourt or Cruzan)
2 oz Coconut Rum (Brinley's or Cruzan)
1 quarter of lime
Ice and top with Tonic

This is really refreshing on a hot summer day and after one you will feel the effects...if you drink one make sure you don't need to drive for a bit

Rob's Piranha Punch

1 part pomegranate juice
3 parts passionfruit juice
2 parts Oronoco
(option) half teaspoon creme of coconut

I've made many of these with cachaзa and high proof rum as well. The combo of the pomegranate's strong berry flavor, the passionfruit's totally tropical tones and the white rum's big teeth interact to create the flesh-eating beast. The addition of a small amount of creme of coconut puts it over the top for me, but I can't drink more than one.
Sounds goooood, ill get me some pom and try this out!

I've been drinking Ti Punch quite a bite lately. For a larger drink, I like the 1-2-3-4 punch (1 of sour ((key) lime juice), 2 of sweet (simple syrup), 3 of strong (rum), and 4 of weak (water). I've also been enjoying a cocktail made with 1 part Cointreau, 2 parts ginger beer, and 3 parts rum.

I am also a fan of crushed ice in cocktails. I use a snow cone-type ice crusher. You can pick one up for right around $10 and they last forever.

I like a Mojito, but I'm open for just about anything. I also drink a rum punch that we call "the rhyme punch." Most of you are probably familiar with it, or at least a variation of it.

1 sour (lime juice),
2 sweet (simple syrup, cherry syrup or grenadine),
3 strong (rum),
4 weak (water)

I've also been known to splash a little cherry syrup into a glass of lemonade and rum.

Typically when I was going to buy the pom for Rob's Piranha Punch the pom-juice was finished. The only thing they have for the moment is a blend of pomegranate and apple juice, not the same thing..so i`ll wait..

I'm new to tiki drinks and rum cocktails, but here's one I enjoyed with friends, and its the simplest I can imagine (and available even in rural Illinois, where passionfruit juice, mango and pomegranate are pretty much unavailable)

2 oz dark rum (I used English Harbor 5 year old)
2 oz pineapple juice
2 oz cranberry juice

Serve in a tall glass filled with ice

Or quadruple the ingredients, make a decanter full and fill up glasses around the weekly "Hearts" card game ....... which is exactly what I did.

pomegranite and any amber rum that you like. i tend to pour a one to one, but i like my drinks strong. it can also be one part rum, one part pomegranite, had one part seltzer for a little extra brightness on a hot day.

careful with pomegranite. at this point very few are 100% pomegranite juice. the drink pomm has very little, if i recall correctly it isn't even in the top three ingredients.

rum and rose's lime juice was one of my earliest rum drinks, that was with mt gay. since then i've expanded my choices of rum and lean more towards fresh lime if i can manage it.

my grandmother was fond of rum in her afternoon tea in the winter after sledding, and i do have to agree with her.

just about anything else as long it does not include pineapple or coconut.

cheers!

I agree that only 100% pomegrante will do. But that`s my taste.
Most of the pomgranate juices here are blended with other fruits like apple, and if you want to find a pomgranate-juice that is 100% pomegranate you must read the label.
I have never tasted the drink pomm, we don`t have it here but we have several others and among them only 1 or mabe 2 are real pomegranate 100%.

Pretty sure POM is 100%. I have a small bottle in my fridge and it does not show additional ingredients. North American brand I think. In Toronto, we have several grocery stores selling POM and their house brand as well. Small and large containers - seems like the "in" thing.

I have not tried with rum - have used with tequila which works very well - now need to try with rum.
