Default who wants Goslings?

Castle Brands (AMEX- ROX) has been distributing Goslings for years in an exclusive partnership. Castle Brands also distributes Pallini Limoncello, Boru Vodka and Knappagough Irish whiskey. Castle Brands is also broke. Well, not quite, but Wall Street expects them to be bankrupt soon, with their stock price deteriorating from $5 a share to less than 40 cents and dropping fast.

So who will distribute my Goslings to me, if Castle Brands gives the death rattle? I might want to stock up.......

Ahm...You'll call up your buddies doing the Newport-Bermuda race and inform them that, in addition to the case of Outbridges sherry peppers and rum peppers, they are also bringing back with them two or three cases of Gosling's. At least that's my strategy, and given that the people doing the race I know already bring back upwards of ten cases of rum,* the increase shouldn't tax them that much.

Cheers. - S

*I am sure that full duty is paid on the imported rum. And yes, it is actually all for personal use. What? It's a two year supply for them, their daughter, their sons, and some of the rest of the crew.

10 cases a two year supply? In the harbors I've anchored in a case of rum will last a little more than a night among a few crews at anchor. Not to say they're big drinkers, but among 15 people a bottle is a little more than 1.5 oz. Hardly enough for one drink.

I've been watching Castle brands press releases for the past four years and am always amazed that the writer seems to gloss over the fact that they have been loosing money, not dollars mind you, but millions a quarter for as long as I've been watching. I wouldn't want to wish them bad luck but cutting some executive salaries might begin to show the rest of the company that more spending isn't always better. I hope you don't own much of that one.

Are you talking about Castle Brands, or United Airlines? It all sounds so eerily similar?
