As you might now Venezuela is facing a huge political and economic crisis.
There are tons of reasons why this crisis has destroyed several industries.
However, the Rum seems to be taking advantage of this crisis.
Distilleries have increased their offering with more premium propositions,
better marketing, more Aged options and definitely more stock for exports. This is what I feel is happening. I want to hear opinions about what do you think about the raise of the Venezuelan Rums in the stores' shelves around the world. The only one I see in Ontario is Diplomatico Anejo. I am still waiting to open my bottle of Santa Teresa Bicentenario

Default Santa Teresa - Bacardi Alliance

Bacardi signed on to handle world-wide distribution of Santa Teresa Rums. ST will be keeping its domestic distribution, but teaming with Bacardi has widened their reach

I am still having a bottle of ST Bicentenario. I think is from the boxes I bought in 2006. I hope the Rum became more rare now LOL. Any opinions?
