Google algorithm
Google is constantly tweaking it's search engine algorithms. The Ministry of Rum has always ranked high when you search for RUM. Typically wikipedia, whose members are obsessed with Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, have historically ranked #1 when searching for almost any subject.
This morning the Ministry of Rum is ranked #1 when searching for the word RUM, I don't know how long that will last, but thanks to all the visitors who have contributed to make this site the most complete source of credible information about my favorite spirit.

It seems the algorithm takes into account the country of your ip address. It's #1 in the US, but you're right 4 or 5 isn't bad. Thanks for your contributions.
