Vote Rum!
I would like to try an experiment. A democratic vote if you will for our favorite Rum. I would like to ask each member of the Ministry of Rum to list their Three (3) favorite Rums. Any style and brand from any where. At the end of one (1) month (approx 31 days) I will add up the Rum-torial Votes. I always get asked to name top Rums to friends and fellow rum drinkers.
All I ask is you only name three. Be specific (year/age). Name your Rums that you truly drink and enjoy (don’t name Maximo if you have never tried it). There is nothing scientific about this but more fun than anything else.

Have to agree with Monsieur Burr;
Relaxing: Zacapa, Diplomatico, ED12 on the rocks.
Before/after dinner drink: Ti-punch with Neisson's
PO'd at work; tired of work, etc: Rum and coke with Appletons.

Planters Gold Pyrat XO (SMS importers version)
Zaya - Guatemalan only
Cruzan Blackstrap + coke
Of course, there are many others. But I think the idea of this thread is the "You are stranded on an island and have to pick 3 rums (only) to have with you. You have to have consumed these rums".
