I am not going to drink it, would like to collect whole serious, but I know that No. 3 is going to be hard to get.

Just found a bottle of revelation rum while in phoenix so picked it up. It is batch 1 so far not a lot of info on this. Label says youngest rum in the bottle was distilled in 1990 and it conrains jamaican rum. I can't find when it was bottled, which distillers were used or what barrels were used for aging. Anyone try this yet?

I would agree with you but then we would both be wrong.

yeah Astor had a 15% off rum sale today. I could not help but to order and extraordinary amount of rum today that I have been meaning to try most at the lowest prices I have ever seen.

Got some cask strength Navazos Palazzi rum to try out at 84 dollars a bottle seemed worth a try finally. Yaguara Organic Cachaca, also picked up some Hamilton 151 and some more worthy park black rum. Also a few bottles of an oddity they had a 52% Barbados rum commissioned by Death & Co in NYC. They made the Scarlet Ibis so I figured it was worth a shot.

Cruzan 2 Year Old Dark (x2)
Foursquare Spiced (x2)
Mt. Gay Sugar Cane Rum

So far, I've only cracked open a bottle of Foursquare, which I found to be very enjoyable. I'm going to wait until I get closer to finishing my bottle of Cruzan Aged Dark rum (14 months) before opening the 2 year.

Among those I passed on (for now on some perhaps): Pyrat Pistol (I thought $18 for a 375ml was a bit high, correct?), Cruzan SB with the older label, Flor de Cana 4 & 7 Year, Mt. Gay Special Reserve (I noticed there were 2 different labels. One looked like the current Eclipse bottles and the other had Barbados colored green, are either worth picking up?), as well as another 4 or 5 bottles of the Sugar Cane Rum.

What were your last bottles purchased?
I just bought Neisson from Martinique, Bielle from Marie Galante (unfiltered), a Koloa Kaua'i dark and a Haleakala dark, both from Hawaii. The first two are far superior, especially the Bielle, but the two Hawaiian rums are also very enjoyable.

Default What's Your Most Recent Purchase?

Recently i had Bacardi Elixir, it has a nose of rich toffee, caramel, nuts and honey, and a palate of bittersweet caramel with hints of spice. I enjoyed it.

Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva. Probably the sweetest in my small collection that still tastes like rum. On the Carl scale of three: I likes it.
Never pass a bar with your name on it.

Default Bayou

Picked up Bayou spiced rum and Bayou satsuma rum liqueur (it's labeled as a liqueur and is 30% ABV rather than the normal 40% ABV). Got both from a local Winn Dixie liquor store. The satsuma stuff tastes like someone took some rum and mixed it into diet Sunkist orange soda.
