Smile In search of the best of the rum world

Though I am a rum lover, I must confess I do not nearly know as much I would like.

I am hoping to start a rum bar in my home city and I'm hoping to use this site as a research tool.

Any ideas or thoughts would always be appreciated!

Rum is like music, one style does not fit everyone and it is impossible to listen to it all. There are soooo many choices, and many of the best are nearly impossible to get. Perhaps if you could give a preference or so. I mean, "factory" are like elevator music ... okay I guess but no one evens listens to it. Chariman's Reserve from St. Lucia will raise your eyebrows in delight and surprize or Trois Rivieres from Martinique is like listening to Mozart. Good luck in your hunt for good stuff.

I am sure that to become an expert you have to enjoy rum and taste as many as possible. I am very glad that one of my all time favorites, Don Q Gran Anejo is the rum of the month. Buy some and taste it, you will like it!

Just search this site and you will have much, much info.
