Over here its the last day of 2008 now so therefore i wish you all a Happy New year!

I for my part hope the next 2009 will bring along much rum to all.

Due to my desire to serve our country, USMC, I will be on duty all day and night tomorrow, so I will need to wait until the night of the 1st before I am able to have a taste. So tonight I purchased a bottle of Appleton Estate Reserve, and sitting here saying cheers to all.

Happy New Year......Drink as much as you want, be responsible, and for gods sake, DO NOT SPILL THE RUM ! ! !

Here's to 2009. May it bring us all more insight and appreciation of rum distillation, maturing, blending and tasting. May we meet many more new friends who share our enthusiasm and passion for the cane spirits. May we discover many new rums and learn the stories of how they're made. And last but not least, may we be blessed to travel to some of our favorite territories around the globe to enjoy our rums in the context in which they've been produced.
