Default Barbancourt deal

At Colonial Wines and Spirits in Little Rock, Barbancourt 3 star is being sold for $18. Is this a good deal?

It is not a deep discount, just a dollar or two less than the average of $19.99.

Boo! No, 3 Star (4 Year) for $18 is not a good deal, at least not in New Jersey where I live. You can get the 5 Star (8 Year) for about $21, not even on sale. The 3 Star usually goes for under $18. While the 3 Star is ok, I recommend the 5 Star more readily.

stormy its all regional, if its a good deal in your area, and your not planning a mail shipment anytime soon, then go for it. In my area it does run cheaper than $18...but I'd still buy this one at that price. Its good.

Good point, Ron James. I may just be spoiled here in NJ. (Pssst! I'd still seek out the 5 Star, though.)

I wish it was that cheap here in the UK.

Default Barbancourt

So these are only the 8 year 5 stars you gentleman are discussing and not the 15 year old Correct? I ask because I am down to my last bottle of the 15 year old stuff (now 20 years old) and have not been back to Haiti to replenish it . I bought several bottles of the Reserve Du Domain in Saint Marks at a little store next to the post office and it was a bargain at $12 a bottle but I would like to get more. Any Ideas out there??
