Default Lollapalooza now has two Rum Sponsors

Lollapalooza recently updated their sponsors page and have listed both Sailor Jerry and Flor de Cana as sponsors.

Rum is the only spirit that has two representatives there (although they have the same distributor).

Interesting that they no longer have Bacardi as the official rum. I would have though that after Bacardi's recent collaboration with Major Lazer that involves a limited edition rum, Bacardi would have tried to maintain their presence in a music festival that their new brand ambassadors headlined in the past.

It's also worth noting that in the past, even in the Lollapalooza VIP Section only the cheaper Bacardi stuff was available meaning that even Flor de Cana 4 would actually be a step-up.

A huge step-up. Flor de Cana 4 is a very good rum - comfortably the driest rum I've ever tasted.

I've had both 4 and 7 and they're both pretty good. I wish they would just stop with the false age-statements and use of the term "slow-age".

I'm really looking forward to seeing what other brands decide to enter this market too!
