Thank you! But Tropical Light is mine too, which makes seven gold.

This is the second competition for Temptryst Tropical Light. It also got gold at last year's Ministry of Rum Competition. Dood would probably do a better job of tasting notes. I'm biased!

Good?
To be honest, during the flavored round of the competition, I was so nervous that I didn't make a lot of notes. It was my first competition and I was just trying to get all the way through 19 some-odd rums.
However, I MIGHT have a sample bottle at home that I can make notes from tonight...

I found the Ruby Red to be intriguing, as well as the Key Lime and Orange. A tasting competition is not the ideal setting to take notes on a product. You need time to live with a new spirit to develop a solid knowledge of it.

I completely agree with Rob, to really appreciate any spirit takes more time than is available during a tasting competition, though there were two hours available for each session.
