Default Ron Millonario Solera 15 Going Away?

Does anyone know if this particular rum is going away?

I was at a local store yesterday and picked up a couple bottles at $9.99. I don't recall if the owner said that this particular rum was going away or if the distributor was no longer going to carry it. Hence the very low price.

Man I hope not. A nice Rum..... especially @ $10! (I'd like to run into that deal here!) But you may be on to something. I got my 1st & only bottle @ Hi-Times Wine over a year ago and they haven't re-stocked it.

For some unknown reason, this fine Rum appears to be MIA across the entire U.S. unfortunately. Hunting for old stock hanging out in off-the-beaten-path liquor stores or a trip to Canada seems to be the only option for now. And I'm not sure about Canada now either. Let's hope it makes a come back ASAP.

to bad we cannot set up a network to trade bottles that are found locally with other members. Be nice to be able to get items that are not available in the area we live in

Lucky you. If you like it, snap it up while you can. Every online source I have tried across the country that used to carry it, can no longer get it.

Yep from the ppl i have talked to it seems like it might only be available on the east coast. Another distributor issue i think. Never understand why they have these issues.

Wish I would have picked up a few more bottles at the $9.99 price. I am going to check out the store to see if they have any left. Luckily Tucson doesn't seem to have a high percentage of rum drinkers. I might get lucky.
