Default From Holland, and whisky lover...

After more than 10 years of building some Scotch whisky expertise (running my own website and forum dedicated to whisky) I decided to learn more about the other king of the spirits, the rum.
I am just a beginner in this field, but the few rums I have tasted learn me that tasting rum or tasting whisky is not that different.
Just that whisky is just getting much more expensive...
And I guess the world of rum is even exciting than the world of WHISKY.
I hope to learn a lot here...

Thanks for those welcome words.
I will probably post regularly in the near future, but I am really a beginner is this world.
My cabinets are full of bottles of whisky... Something between 8 and 900 bottles and I just purchased my first bottles of rum (except those bottles of Negrita I purchased years ago to mix with hot water and honey when I catch a cold ). I did not yet find the time to taste and to describe them.
My first bottle was a single cask Clement, 2 Millonario (15 and 20 y.o) and a few bottles in the range Rum Nation.
I wait a bit before tasting them, as I have the intention to publish my impressions on my whisky website, but I need to make some major changes in the structure of the site...
