Talking Double Barrel

The next release from the Bundaberg Distilling Company is only a few weeks away.

Double Barrel - The rum is aged in its normal White Oak vats then put into Port Barrels and then finally into sherry barrrels. This Rum retains the original taste of Bundaberg Rum but with layers of honey, caramel and spice.

Default Road to Recovery

Released 16th March 2013, On the 27th January 2013 Bundaberg suffered its worst flood in its history. Much of Bundaberg was underwater and even the Bundaberg Distillery suffered some inundation. This limited edition bottle was released to help Bundaberg on its Road to Recovery.

Different labels were produced with the names of all the streets that were flooded.

4.5 Litre Underproof Cradle

Released in late June 2013, This is the first time the Bundaberg Distilling Company has release a 4.5L Bottle in a swing cradle. It came with a recommended retail price of $279.

It contains 133 standard drinks and weighs about 8kg. These cradles and bottles are the same as the ones used for the Johnnie Walker 4.5L. Another interesting fact is that this rum was bottled in Scotland at the Johnie Walker Distillery. It is unconfirmed on how the rum was sent to Scotland for bottling but the thoughts are that it was sent over as Overproof (to make the amount sent smaller) then watered down in Scotland.

It is also 37.5% Alc/Vol not the standard 37.0% we are used to seeing in Bundaberg Rum Underproof, this is because the minimum Alcohol percentage in the European Union is 37.5%

125th Anniversary Distillers No.3 Re-Release

Distillers No.3 was discontinued in 2009 without much fan fare, but once collectors noticed it had disapeared the price sky rocketed. This release celebrates 125 years of the Bundaberg Distilling Company and gives many collectors a chance to taste the much loved Distillers No.3.
