Picked up a few of the Plantation vintages, Dos Maderas and Diplomatico Res Ex earlier this year.
Like Ben mentioned, we've had only 1single cask at the saq. But im only hoping more will come in time. Saq has been getting interesting selections recently in the last year..... But simply not enough stock...but all in all we are way behind on single cask editions of plantaion rums here in quebec... And its a shame..... Mr.paul brand manager..... Hook us up here in quebec get us in touch with someone lolol.....

Three of the single casks has been released on the German market.
One of the webshops that has the new releases are: http://www.cognac-paradise.de/Rum.htm

(Besides being a customer of the webshop, I have no interest in promoting this particular shop)

Brazil 1999
Trinidad 2002 Porto/Cognac finish
Guyana 1988

Cheers,
Johnny

To quickly bomb into this thread, there are loads of Single Casks in this latest round of releases. In the UK we're going to be importing the ones that I fell in love with most - the Guadeloupe Sauternes (sweet wine casks) 1998 and the Trinidad Multimillésime (blend of vintage champagne casks) 99/01/03.
Hello, do you or anyone now where i can find the Guadelope Sauternes, and the Trinidad Multimillésime? Also looking for the Cuba Single Cask.

Would also be great if anyone has tried any of these and if so what you thought?

Rum Plantation "Guyana" 1988 - Limited Edition
42% vol. Cognac-Cask-Finish

- Rum Plantation "Trinidad" 2002 - Limited Edition
42% vol. Porto-Cask- + Cognac-Cask-Finish

- Rum Plantation "Trinidad" 1999/2001/2003
47% vol. Limited Edition

- Rum Plantation "Brazil" 1999 - Limited Edition
42% vol. Cognac-Cask-Finish

- Rum Plantation "Cuba" 1998 - Limited Edition
42% vol. Cognac-Cask-Finish

Many questions, therefore many thanks.

The editions that also has been aged in other casks (besides cognac casks) will have it listed in the upper left corner on the label or in the white text below the Origin (Red text) where it probably says "Limited Edition" on your bottle.

One thing I have noticed about the Guadeloupe 1998 SC is the difference in the numbering scheme. The bottle I have is Cask 4/5 Bottle 244/450 (bottle date on neck 1H240610). Another bottle I bought was Cask something/10 Bottle something/420. Looking online I also see Cask 14/15. So the amount of casks that's being release differs and apparently also the amount of bottles available from each cask.

The three Guadeloupe 1998 SC releases on Pauls list is to my knowledge not available right now, but I guess they will be soon. I have the following Guadeloupe in my collection:

Guadeloupe 1998 Single Cask
Guadeloupe 1998 Single Cask - Calvados & Cognac
Guadeloupe 1999 Single Cask
Hi Johnny,

Thanks for the information. I retrieved my Plantation SC Guadeloupe, and I look closely for any info on the bottle label, but to no avail. My bottle numbering is 9/10, 142/320. Any idea what finish it is? I'm very confused with the different finish of these similar offerings and how people are able to see the difference between them.

If nothing is written on the label (upper left corner, or in the white text below the origin), then the standard finish are casks previously used for Pierre Ferrand cognac. The single cask rums with 2nd/3rd type of cask cognac/"something else" are as far as I know only produced in 1-5 casks series, I think its only the Guadeloupe SC with 2nd aging in cognac casks only thats produced in the higher amount of casks (I've seen series of 5,10 and 15).
