Default May Rum of the Month

From Belize, One Barrel Rum is a popular tourist choice that is gaining distribution in the US. According to the brand owner, this is a colored and slightly flavored rum but despite an age statement is popular for its price and mixability.

Found out about One Barrel before our trip to Belize, back in 2008. This is the best rum I have ever tasted. When I can find it, it stays chilling in the fridge to be consumed straight.
It smells like butterscotch and vanilla, to me anyway
Me wife won't drink it when we find some, simply because when we were leaving from Belize City, she was convinced that we could find it back home in Georgia, and we didn't bring any home with us.....

Great rum, as is the 5 Barrel. Glad to see it making it's way here to the states, and I can't wait for the 10 Barrel!
