Default Niesson rhums

I'm thinking of ordering Niesson Rhum Blanc, and one of the aged Niessons, either the Eleve Sous or the Reserve Special.

Any recommendations between the latter two?

I don't know where you are going to have to order from to get Neisson in Hawaii, but considering the cost of shipping I would suggest the Reserve. It is more expensive but is a much more complex rhum agricole than any of the other agricole rhums from Martinique presently sold in the US. ESB is also interesting and more and more bartenders are mixing it. By the way, ESB makes a great ti punch. If you're going to order the Blanc, I would also suggest getting a bottle of Petite Canne Sugar Cane Syrup, it really makes a better ti punch and is widely used in the French islands.

When I dream up a better job, I'm going to take it. In the meantime, the research continues.

You read my mind.
Just ordered the Blanc, Reserve and Canne sugar.
Shipping for 4 bottles to Hawaii runs the cost of a good bottle of rum...around $45.
