Default Lemon Hart Lives Quietly.

Bmalec: I recently found a dusty old bottle of Lemon Hart Demerara 151 tucked in a little corner of a cluttered liquor store in Manhattan. The distinctive yellow & red label caught my eye like an old friend from the past. This rum was one of the first rums I really coveted when I found a bottle of it in 1970, at the tender age of 17. Mighty powerful stuff and not a sipper but a topper for your multi-juice cocktails, like Planter's and Bahama Mamas et all...I thought El Dorado was now overseeing the production of this classic rarity...Just went on line and you are right a Montreal concern which broke off from Seagrams now controls the brand.
