Try starting the session with something a bit heavy before the rum. Something meat based like chicken or meat balls. You do not have to eat a lot of it. The "heavy" food causes the stomach to close access to the intestines in order to process and break down the heavy foods.visit this site http://www.swisscubancigars.com/blog...w-cuban-cigar/ This then allows the rum to sit in the stomach longer and break down. The rum takes longer to absorb into your system this way. You can then enjoy the rum without getting (as) smashed. Unless, of course, that is your objective.
