Rum and Ginger tea?

Have any of you mixed rum with home made Ginger tea? I`m just wondering as I this week have got a h-ll of a cold..and it seems to not want to leave..at least not yet..so tonight i need something STRONG!

it sounds good to me, but i haven't tried it. I have had rum with various dark teas like earl grey or english breakfast, and its not bad at all.
I have also tossed a dram into red zinger, but its better with straight hibiscus and ginger than the fruity store blend.

Oh yes, the cold is over...it was just a extremely tiring working week. Where i work everyone work when they have colds unless you have loads of fever of course..it cost too much to stay home.
I usually drink copious amounts of ginger tea when ì have colds. I slice a large piece of ginger in the evening and boil for 5 minutes and then leave under cover overnight. Then i use that water for tea or if i`m too lazy i drink it straight. And this time i added some rum. Tastes ok. If it helps? have no idea..
