Paired with the rhums, will be a Four-Course Dinner featuring Chef Patricia Galer's Caribbean Fusion cuisine.

In addition, Ed Hamilton will be the guest speaker explaining much of the history of Martinique Rhums, how to sip and mix these Agricole beauties, and explain the Appelation D'Origin Controlee system.

Philly man: my mouth is watering. The rums of Martinique are all too rare. I envy your opportunity to have these beauties, along with Ed's insightful knowledge, to savor for an evening.

I must say, I was lucky enough to snag Ed away for a day or so. I am extreemely excited about this, also, as Ive never tried any of the Neisson or La Favorite rhums before. Itll be exciting to sample all their whites side by side, all their ambers, and then all their oldest outputs side by side.

This should be a very fun event!

These agricoles are some of the best of the best. This will be a great time for all!!!!!!!Except of course, those of us who won't be there. I may have to make a Philly stop on my way to New york in November.

Thanks for coming down tonight! My guests had a great time, I saw nothing but smiles. I was glad most of my staff made it out and learned a few things, especially the proper way to make a ti punch. My guests appreciated all you had to say. After I left, a couple of them continues to grill me with questions on some things they forgot to ask you. I was thrilled!

Oh yeah, you were much taller than your avatar lets on, haha!

It ended up being much more casual, not so much showy as we had hoped, due to a poor turn-out for reservations. What people got was better, a one-on-one with Ed.

However due to the casuality of the event, no pics were snapped.

I thoroughly enjoyed my short trip to Philadelphia, Adam has made quite a stir in his city. Everywhere I went Thursday people asked me about your bar. It's always a pleasure to meet people who enjoy learning about the rums they drink almost as much as they enjoying drinking them.

My schedule is coming together for mid April and it looks like I'll be back in Philadelphia on my way from Washington DC to NYC with stops in Philadelphia, and Elizabeth, NJ to drink some rum at Stage Left.
