How is the rum selection in Chico? I have visited a few times (family in Oregon House), but I've never checked out the liquor stores.

Well there are a few decent stores that have a good but small selection of rums. The 17 St Mangrove Bottle Store has some of the following, Zaya, Flor De Cana, English Harbor, Ron Zacapa Centenario, Ron Anejo Pampero Aniversario and PYRAT Xo Reserve. There are a few other stores one Tony's Liquor Store on West Sacramento has a few decent brands also . Most of my buying is done online.
I would like to make some good friends and connections where we could help each other out for rums we are not able to get in our states.

If you make it to Sacramento, you really should check out Bevmo. There are two locations, and they both have pretty good selections. Your local selection isn't bad; it is better than I expected. Which Flor De Cana is available?
Since I have family in Oregon House, I buy lots of rum from Bevmo (the store is near the airport) and also have rum sent from Hi-Times to their house. They have deals so much better than what I can get, that I still save money. I wish I had a better local selection of rums as well. Online is the way to go. Having easy access to Bevmo and Hi-Times would keep me a happy man.

The Mangrove Bottle Store has if I remember correctly have the 5 and 7 year old aged rums. They don't have the 12 or 21 aged. I find that I order off of the following places and have had good to great results.
Hi-Times - In Costa Mesa Cal, used to live down there 20 yrs ago. Always great customer service especially on the phone. I have placed over 8 different orders with them and all went perfect.
Bevmo - is also another online site I order from and shipping is usually pretty fast 2 days to me from their location. Also very friendly good customer service. 3 seperate orders all went perfect.
Internet Wines - Good selection, good prices very slow at shipping and downright rude for customer service. If I could find a replacement to them I would never give them a dime of my money again.
Beverage Warehouse - Also has been friendly and nice to order from. Only did 2 orders with them but all went smooth.
TicoShopping - Located in Costa Rica, just ordered 2 bottles of Centenario Aсejo Especial Rum great price. So let's see if all goes well with the order. If so I will report back. if so I will order some of the Centenario Conmemorativo Rum.
If anyone wants to add a few sites to the list please let me know. I will do the same as I find places.
