Cool, we'll look after you. I've also got about 300 rums at my restaurant for you to sip and savor...

Tiare, have you met my overworked business partner Ian Burrell? Mr Rum Ambassador.
Hope you're gonna get more involved in the MOR boards Mr B :)

Looks like a very nice restaurant to me!:) its my kind of food...just look at this:
King Prawn, Pineapple & Spring Onion Kebabs.
served on a banana leaf with a tangy papaya coulis.
Mixed Fish Platter.
jerked snapper, jackfish, squid, parrot fish with plantain and rice n peas
Home Made Chocolate & Rum Cake.
served with hot chocolate sauce & whipped cream.
And the cocktail and rum list isn`t bad either...
Ed - where is that drooling smiley now again???

Don't tell Ian but the only reason I went into business with him was for plentiful food and rum at Cottons

I moved this post to Bars that appreciate RUM but maybe I should change the title of this forum to Bars and Restaurants that appreciate rum. Cottons is great, the only problem last year was that we didn't get to spend enough time there. And the food is fantastic, and this is from a guy that enjoys a home cooked meal more than the restaurant food that has added more than a few kilos to my waistline over the last two years.
Ian has hundreds of rums, but the more impressive fact is that he and his staff actually know something about most of them. This just isn't an impressive list of flavors that no one would want to drink, most of these rums are drinking stuff.

The big fire in Camden seems to have come close to the area we traveled through when visiting Ian's fine restaurant named Cottons. I hope all is well.

All's well Mr Burr. Thanks mate. Seeing that fire up close made me think how you can be here today, gone tomorrow. So I drank a few glasses of my favourite rum while tucking into a Jerked Marinated lamb on a bed of sweet potato mash on a plum sauce, and thinking...Life's too short. So enjoy.
