I have been looking around the net and have happened across a series of books by Jeff Berry, that relate to tropical drink. They are grog log, intoxica and there is another new one that escapes me.
Has anyone had a chance to see or read these books? I love tropical drinks, the more girly the better..my wife just laughs at me. Can anyone recommend one of his books over the others, or are they all pretty good?
Thanks

All of Jeff's books are worth finding and reading. Some may have more content that you are looking for but all are full of interesting facts and debunk some of the common misconceptions of the tiki cocktail era.
And if you ever have a chance to see Jeff at a tasting, go for it.

If you are into Tiki cocktails the Beachbum's books are the bibles. The last one is "Surfin' Safari" by the way.

No..you type wrong..."Sippin` Safari"....;) you mix up with the beachboys..
And then we have Taboo Table - about tiki foods.
Get `em all..

Why the heck did I type "SURFIN" ??
To steal a line from someone else:
"Now that I've learned about quality tiki drinks, drinking for breakfast has really improved."

I don't even like surf music, or the Beach Boys.
Suddenly I think I'll skip the 3rd morning Mai Tai...

Maybe the problem is that you're stopping at the 3rd...
