Since Appleton is going to be getting a new US importer and the conflict another cream product in the Brown-Forman portfolio will no longer be an issue in the US, I expect to see Sangster's Rum cream in the US maybe as soon as the end of the year. more on this on later.

As cream liqueurs go Sangsters is on of the finest. If I remember rightly, Lisa Bell from JW&N, who did a stint in this country as marketing manager, was on the development team who put it together.

On a non-rum related cream liqueur note, we tasted a new product that's launching to market called Coole Swan http://www.cooleswan.com/. It is to Baileys what El Dorado is to Bacardi Superior....

This Coolesvan seems very tasty..i like the combination of cream, vanilla, cocoa and a spirit. So i wonder if you put togehther half of milk and half of cream, some dark cocoa liqueur, a dash of white chocolate syrup, homemade Tahitian vanilla syrup and a strong white rum, and mix it, and place a cut banana piece on the glass, would that make a nice drink?? and to make it a bit different maybe also mix in a little plantain? sprinkle some nutmeg on top as well? iґm after a semi-sweet creamy milky-chocolate-rummy taste..
Maybe some El Dorado would go in this?? or would it destroy the drinks color??
I just need some advice here..

That drink sounds reaaaaly bad for you - it's a White Russian more or less - half and half, kahlua and spirit. I'm not a big fan of those sorts of creamy cocktails so not sure if I can advise on it's improvement.

The Coole Swan is wicked. Created by the guy who created Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray Ten, in his kitchen, playing around with the finest ingredients. Magagascan Vanilla, Irish Cream, Middleton Rare Irish Whisky, Cocoa beans.......yummy.

Anyway I digress - back to rum drinks :)

Hmm...i like those creamy cocktails..:p especially in winter time, well the only way to find out is to try eh?

The Coole Swan sounds good though. When will it be available in Europe?

My understanding for sources within J Wray & Nephew is that the new distributer has not take up the option of carrying the Sangsters RUM Cream in the US market so we may be waiting in vain.

Why go to all that pain. We at DDL have a rum cream and a chocolate cream. Have you tried them? Our feed back is fantastic, your comments would be more than welcome.

El Dorado Rum Cream (http://www.ministryofrum.com/rumdetails.php?r=609) is very good. But then DDL does a lot of things right.

I think i should be able to get the rum cream but i havenґt seen it on the shelves here though. But Germany has a lot of rums and so do Italy and the UK.
