This post is an answer to RumPhillyBar's question re Cruzan Blackstrap rum with maple syrup. Is it good?

Damn right it is....a paramedic friend who is also a papered chef told me about this dessert recipe:

1 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup dark/black rum (We used Black Seal)**
1 tablespoon of ground milk chocolate**

pour over French Vanilla ice cream (the real stuff not low fat)...yummy.

I added the asterisks because technically it was more free pouring then precise measuring.
