I'm off to Jamaica in the morning and hope to post some pics from Nicaragua during the layover in Charlotte, NC. Then I'm off to San Francisco but should be back on line in about ten days.

Boy am I glad this isn't a real job or I'd be screwed.

By any chance might you know Lou Schwartz on Tortola? He operates the Jolly Roger there and is an old friend of mine.

I met Lou a few times, but don't know the last name. In the islands, last names are seldom used. The Jolly Roger is a West End bar which is easy to get to from the anchorage so it is popular among sailors.

Lou (Schwartz) and I married (the first time, but not the last for both of us)
ladies who were best friends. My friendship with Lou stuck, but not my marriage, or his:D I figured you knew him because everyone with a boat in the Carribean seems to. I've been to the JR and had a fine time myself.
