A few weeks of rest around the holidays are over. I'm on my way to Nicaragua to learn more about that country and their rum. Then over to Jamaica to, well er, drink some rum. And to confirm some of the rumors and/or lies I've been told about their favorite drink. With a little more than luck, I'll be seeing some of you on the west coast at the end of the month.

To be honest, if I could, I would definitely take you up on that. Haven't been to Europe since 1992 when I went to Moscow and St. Petersburg.

I'll actually be in Germany for Oktoberfest this year with my wife and my brother. Really looking forward to that.
