How sugarcane is grown

I was interested in learning a bit more about how sugarcane is grown and came across a company called Netafim (http://www.sugarcanecrop.com/) from Israel (of all places) which seems to be on the cutting edge of cane growing technology. Fascinating and informative with a wealth of information here.
