a Martinique rhum bottled in France (or so they claim)
the nose has that herbaceous aroma I associate with the "terroir" of Martinique
with time honey and baking spices make their appearance
a scrumptious bouquet, for sure
It tastes of brown sugar and oak and buttery/creamy confection
It's finsh is extensive, lean and sweet
to overlook this gem because it may or may not be the "real McCoy", I guess, leaves more for me
