$17 per liter, 42% ABV, Aged allegedly 3 yrs in wooden barrels, relatively unattractive low-budget bottle.
I'm not a Cachaca expert. I've only had Cabana, Leblon and Seagram's Brazilian Rum (which I don't care for). Still Pirapora is a very nice pour and a solid value. It's got the cachaca grassy taste, yet it's still relatively smooth. I opened the bottle last night with my neighbors, and also had some tonight (and the bottle is gone!). 100 degree heat here today, so I made caipirinhas with raspberries and strawberries. Delish. I'll definitely be restocking my supply of this nice cachaca.
