Actually, google doesn't have any of the member location information. The locations are on the MoR server and the locations are parsed by the site software and displayed over a map provided by Google.

I don't give Google or any other online source any more information than I want to share with the world. I don't use gmail except in rare occasions.

Sorry this doesn't apply directly to google, but I have a map question. Why is it when I click on, we'll call it a pin head, on any given map it doesn't take you any where or give any kind of info? For example, trying to find rum friendly retail stores.

The map used to give you the user name associated with each pin, but it hasn't now for some time. Ed, would it be possible to get this feature back?

Google changed their map api and I'm playing catch up on the software upgrade, stay tuned, I'm working on this and a few other problems. I appreciate knowing what is important to the visitors to this site.

The member map is now showing member names for those members who have indicated their location in their profile. Thanks again for letting me know members names weren't showing up and please let me know when you discover other problems with this site.
