It is nice to see that Willow Park Spirits in Calgary has finally started to listen and bring im some Agricole's. They are now carrying the entire Clement range. the XO is selling for 123 dollars.

lets hope Clement keeps coming west.

Silly question but that range includes the blanc and Creole Schrub products as well? Do you know what the prices were??

Yes, they were all there. If memory serves the blanc was about 40, the shrub was about 45, VSOP 50, Cuvee 90 and the XO was 124.

They've now made it to Edmonton as well. Just picked up a bottle of the XO, the Cuvee Homere and the VSOP. Unfortunately, with the exception of the VSOP, it would appear that the pricing at Willow Park is better than the shop I visited.

Hello Goose,

Hell of a pick up. Did you try any of these three? I've only tasted the VSOP, and it was the best agricole I had yet. Since it is the cheapest one, I'm curious to know how are the premium ones.

I'd like to get your opinion also.
I have a source for a good price on the Curvee, and would like to know if the XO is worth the extra price.
Or, anyone else's take on that?
Thanks

Haven't had the opportunity to give any of the agricoles a try yet (wife says I need to empty the cabinet of some of the open bottles before opening anymore....HMMR). However, as soon as I can, I'll try to give some comment. Though I am new to the world of Agricole's as these are the first I've seen in Edmonton (other than the Karukera's).

Jason - I picked them up at Sherbrooke Liquor on 118Ave and St. Albert Trail.

Grabbed the VSOP today. I didn't see any of the XO left on the shelf :(

Did you look at the shelf behind/beside the cash register? That's where they kept the XO and the Cuvee last time I was in. (Separate area from the remainder of the rums).

Crap, only in passing. I noticed the Appleton 30 and the HC Maximo they had there, but I didn't see anything else. I should have asked...

Oh well. Next time.

Agricole Lovers, I had the pleasure and privilege of spending a few hours at the Defiance Bar in Red Hook Brooklyn making and drinking Ti-Punch Cocktails with Ben Jones, the Clement Family Diplomat who lives here in the States. He showed me how to muddle and stir with the best of them. His Clement Signature Rhum appellations from the fiery white to the vieux are probably the best examples of true Agricole Rhum available here in the States, especially the Creole Shrubb Liqueur which creates a marvelous and vibrant orange bass note for any cocktail it touches...Ben would be great to feature in a Agricole On-Line Chat/Webinar.
