I need a good NYC Bar/RhumRhumRoom?

Im looking for a good NYC bar, the sort of place to have a great cocktail that doesn't involve knowing someone to get in. I was thinking about the rhum rhum room but I don't know where it is. Another one I heard about is Death & Co. Any ideas?

Death & Co is a great place, Flatiron Lounge and Pegu are also very good and you don't have to know anyone to get in though the do get very busy on weekends.
There are also a number of good rum bars in Brooklyn, just a couple of stops on the subway from Manhattan.
Jakewalk, Cotton Club and Caracas Arepas, to name just three.
The RRR is a private bar so you probably won't find it unless you know someone.

Ed's list is a good one and there are new bars opening all the time.
