Hi,

just bought a bottle of Riviйre du Mвt Opus 5, funny there's no reference on - Riviиre du Mвt - web page (http://www.rdm.gqf.com/index.php).

Limited: approx. 6300 bottles
Age: 6-12 years
Strenth: 43% - 86 proof

Very special rum, on second try outstanding (imho), worth a try for any Agricole afficionado.

Nose: sweet - close to Zacapa (I'm exaggerating), Diplomatico or Centenario XX, but more spirit

First sip: woody, complex, hints of dry fruit (plum), intensive

Finish: long lasting, pleasant sweet.

Has anyone tried this one?

I think it is more 50% agricol and 50% from molasse!

Opus five means it is a blend of 5 rhums agricoles aged 6 to 12 years. It is on my wish list, as well as the Royal Blend which is a blend of traditionnels and agricoles of the same period.
