I have done a brief review of Montanya Oro Rum from Colorado, USA.

Thanks for the review. Montanya completely surprised me with their white rum. After exchanging a few email with Brice and Karen, I was surprised when I first tasted their rum. It is extremely difficult to make good rum after only a few months of experimentation. Starting with quality sugar and soft water are just two keys to success.

As a forum member with a few posts you enter part of your review on the rum detail page for Montanya Platino (http://www.ministryofrum.com/forums/../rumdetails.php?r=878) or Oro (http://www.ministryofrum.com/forums/../rumdetails.php?r=879) with a link to your site.

Ed, I haven't cracked open the bottle yet. It is in a long line of rums waiting to be "tested". I had a mule come back from Trinidad yesterday with 3 bottles and the wife goes to the Bahamas tomorrow, so the line just keeps getting longer!!

I completely understand those unopened bottles on the shelf. I try to taste every new bottle of cane spirit when I have enough time to give it more than a passing taste. It's not as easy as it might seem to taste all these rums.
