capt morgan made in guatemala?

i was at new year eve party, and various people brough morgan original spiced rum to it, just out of interest i checked the countyr of production, since the common label stated puerto rican rum on it. and the country of production is aparently guatemala and it is the normal original spiced rum.does anyone have an idea why this occurs

You're in Mexico, is that correct? Captain Morgan is made in several places depending on where it is sold.

thanks i did not know that and i checked several different sources on the internet and nothing came up.
