This is good news. Brinley is a fav. of mine and the best flavored rum on the market. One of the owners zack brinley, is one of the nicest men in the rum industry. Worth buying the product just to support the dream.

Cool. I love all of their flavored rums. The coconut is great, and the mango is terrific. Can't wait to try their new offering.

About ten years ago I got an email from Mrs. Brinley asking me what I thought about making rum on St Kitts. My answer was that unless you had lived in the islands for a few years and understood what you were getting into you would probably fail. The short answer was that I wouldn't put my money in a rum business on the island.

CSR was winding down at the time and things changed. Fortunately for the Brinleys, they were able to hire some first rate talent who had worked for CSR and wanted to stay on the island. Their business hasn't been without its island trials, but they have stayed true to their goal of producing the best product they could. Exporting it has been another challenge but a good attitude, good product and perseverance are paving the way to a successful business.

I look forward to their spiced rum. I'm confident my expectations will be exceeded. All the best to the Brinley family. It really is a family business and I look forward seeing them every chance I get.
