On my birthday I picked up bottles of Appleton 21 and Ron Matusalem Gran Reserva. Both are fantastic rums.

You've got some nice rums in there. The Montecristo 12-year-old and Ron Matusalem Gran Reserva immediately come to mind as recommendations. Diplomбtico Reserva Exclusiva and El Dorado 15-year-old might be a couple more.

Hello Milicent, You have a great selection! Let me toss in my two cents,
and forgive me if I repeat a few that have already been suggested:
Appleton 21
El Dorado 12 or 15
Doorly's XO
Neisson Reserve Speciale
La Favorite Rhum Vieux
Mount Gay Extra Old
English Harbor 5
Ron Matusalem Gran Reserva
Gosling's Old Rum
Plantation Jamaican 8
Angostura 1924
And, for a different white rum experience, maybe Neisson or La Favorite Rhum Agricole Blanc! ( you could try the Ti Punch).
Happy choosing!!! :D

That's a very fine selection.
I'm not sure how your collection is displayed, but if you wanted to make a visual statement, I would suggest:
Angostura 1824 or 1919
Vizcaya VXOP
Khukri Coronation
They're all very fine rums that would make a nice presentation.
Enjoy your purchase, and let us know what you've chosen.

I would also recommend El Dorado 12 year old and English Harbour 5 year old.
Angostura 1919 is my new favourite, so I'd second that suggestion. What a nice choice to have!

I will repeat a couple of others suggestions and make some new ones. The Angostura 1919 is good but a little too much vanilla flavorfor me. The Plantation Rum Barbabos Grand Reserve is similiar but the the vanilla is not as strong, this is a very good rum. Also one that I don't see mentioned often that is a good mellow sweet rum is Barrique Origine Rum.
My personal favorite for a sweet rum is Ron Centerario Fundacion XX Anos 20 yr rum. The Ron Centerario Commerativo Reserve is not as sweet but very good for about $20US a bottle. Both of these are Costa Rican rums.
I see you have many Flora De Cana rums but not the Commerativo 21, a 15 year rum. It is my favarite Flora rum but at $60 a bottle it is not one I sample much.
Also Santa Teressa 1796, Cruzan Single Barrell, and Carlisle Reef 5 year are a few more. Actually too many good ones to name, try them all.

All right, everyone. Thanks for all the help. Yesterday was the big day and I wound up with a few more good bottles. Here's my haul:
My Purchases:
Plantation Barbados
Ron Matusalem Gran Reserve
El Dorado 15 Year
Given to Me:
Plantation Jamaica
Cruzan Single Barrel
I wanted to pick up a bottle of Khukri but couldn't find it anywhere, not even online. Any suggestions?
I'm more than happy with my new additions. Thanks for all the recommendations. I don't think my sixteenth birthday could have been any better! Right. Right. I have a few more years under my belt. Still, it was a great birthday.
