I have some samples of Cuca Fresca hopefully coming this week. Has anybody tried any of their products, Premium Clear, Pura Gold-Aged, and several flavours? The Pura Gold-Aged is aged up to five years from single-batch, double distilled, copper pot stilled and triple distilled from organic estate-grown sugar cane. The Clear is aged for up to 12 weeks!!

Forrest, I believe that this was one of the brands at the last tasting???? I wanted to order some because it's not on the shelf at HiTime. But, I went nuts on the Clement order.....glass.gif
Anyway, I recall how smooth it was. NOT a hard-core unrefined cachaca if I'm thinking right.

I was given some RTD flavoured Cuca Fresca'a and a bottle of the Pura Gold, which I sampled last night. I am first to admit that cachaca's are not my favourite "rums" to drink, but it was not bad on the rocks, but has left me with a sore head this morning!!(not what I need on a Friday and trying to move into our new store) I have also sampled the pre-mixed Classic Caipirinha, which too was not bad. We might start carrying them in our store, but the flavours appear to have short shelf lives.
here's a recent review (http://www.drinkhacker.com/2009/12/02/review-cuca-fresca-cachaca-and-caipirinha/) of Cuca on drinkhacker
